Terms of Service

Last updated: June 2026

1. About EVE Exchange

EVE Exchange ("the Platform", "we", "us") is an independent, fan-made platform built for players of EVE Online, a game developed by CCP Games. EVE Exchange is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or in any way connected to CCP Games or EVE Online.

By accessing or using EVE Exchange you agree to these Terms of Service in full. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you must not use the Platform.

2. In-Game Currency — No Real-World Value

All balances, transactions, and trades on EVE Exchange are denominated in ISK (InterStellar Kredits), the virtual currency of EVE Online. ISK has absolutely no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged for real-world currency through this Platform.

Depositing ISK involves transferring in-game currency between EVE Online characters. No real money changes hands at any point through EVE Exchange. Nothing on this Platform constitutes a financial product, investment, security, or regulated instrument under any jurisdiction.

3. Eligibility

You must hold a valid EVE Online account and authenticate via CCP's official EVE SSO (Single Sign-On) service to use this Platform. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your EVE Online credentials.

4. Corp Listings

Listings on EVE Exchange represent in-game EVE Online corporations only. They are not shares in real-world companies and do not confer any legal ownership, voting rights, dividends, or claims of any kind outside of the Platform's own tracking system.

Listed corporations self-report their own statistics. EVE Exchange does not audit, verify, or guarantee the accuracy of any financial information provided by listing corporations. You should conduct your own research before making any trading decision.

5. Trading Rules

  • All orders are limit orders executed by an automated matching engine.
  • You may not attempt to manipulate prices, the order book, or any other market mechanism.
  • You may not use automated tools or bots against the Platform without prior written consent.
  • Wash trading (buying and selling the same asset to yourself to create artificial volume) is prohibited.
  • Accounts found to be in violation of these rules may be suspended or permanently banned.

6. ISK Deposits and Withdrawals

Deposits are credited after detection in the exchange corporation's in-game wallet journal. EVE Exchange is not responsible for ISK sent with an incorrect or missing reference code.

Withdrawals are processed manually and are subject to a minimum amount. Processing times vary. EVE Exchange reserves the right to delay or refuse a withdrawal in cases of suspected fraud, market manipulation, or technical issues.

7. Platform Availability

EVE Exchange is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the Platform will be available at all times or that it will be free of errors. We reserve the right to suspend, modify, or discontinue the Platform at any time without notice.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, EVE Exchange and its operators shall not be liable for any loss of ISK, loss of data, loss of trading opportunity, or any other loss arising from your use of the Platform.

Since ISK has no real-world monetary value, no claim for financial damages can arise from the use or misuse of this Platform.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes.

10. EVE Online Third-Party Policy

EVE Exchange operates in accordance with CCP Games' Third-Party Developer License Agreement and Community Guidelines. All data retrieved from the EVE ESI (EVE Swagger Interface) API is used in compliance with CCP's developer terms.
