EVE Exchange is a fan-made, independent platform for EVE Online players. References to "we", "us", or "EVE Exchange" in this policy refer to the operators of this Platform. We are not affiliated with CCP Games.

2. Data We Collect
Via EVE SSO (login):
- EVE character ID and character name
- Corporation ID and corporation name
- An OAuth access token and refresh token used to read your corporation wallet (if you authenticate as a corp admin)
- ISK balance and transaction history on the Platform
- Orders placed, trades executed, and portfolio holdings
- Deposit reference codes
- Account settings (e.g. EVE mail notification preferences)
- Session cookies for authentication
3. How We Use Your Data
We use the data collected solely to operate the Platform:
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing or commercial purposes.
- Authenticating your account via EVE SSO
- Tracking your ISK balance, orders, and trades
- Detecting and crediting ISK deposits to your account
- Sending EVE mail notifications (if enabled in settings)
- Displaying your character name and portrait on the Platform

4. Third-Party Services
CCP Games / EVE ESI: We access the EVE Swagger Interface API to read character and corporation data. CCP's privacy policy applies to data originating from EVE Online.
Supabase: We use Supabase (supabase.com) as our database and authentication provider. Your data is stored in their infrastructure. Supabase's privacy policy applies to data stored on their servers.
Vercel: The Platform is hosted on Vercel (vercel.com). Standard web request logs (IP addresses, request paths) may be processed by Vercel's infrastructure. Vercel's privacy policy applies.

5. Cookies
We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. This cookie contains a session token and does not track you across other websites. No third-party tracking or advertising cookies are used.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Trading history (orders, trades, ledger entries) is retained indefinitely for Platform integrity purposes — specifically to maintain a verifiable audit trail of all transactions.

7. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Since the only personal data we hold is your EVE character name and ID (which are public in EVE Online), these rights are naturally limited in scope.

8. Children
EVE Online requires players to be at least 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has used this Platform, please contact us.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
